The Green Party is the only political party in the United States
that is growing. There are over 160,000 registered Greens in California,
and 63 elected Greens in office right now in California (including
several mayors and the President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors).
In the last election, Green candidates for state-wide offices got
up to 5.8% of the state-wide vote. In Alameda County that number
was far higher - over 11% of us voted for Peter Camejo for Governor.
All these numbers are up from 2000.
Alameda County has thousands of registered

The Alameda County Greens have helped develop the 10
key values of the Green Party of California. They are a good
overview of what we stand for. For further information, please read
