Endorse ACA17, lowers the vote age in CA to 17.

Background and Purpose:
This bill has not been read as of this writing but is the same bill introduced by Assembly Member Gene Mullin in 2006. It
lowers the voting age to 17.

Voter turnout has continued to decline. Teaching highs school students to vote and making voting part of a person's culture greatly increases the likelihood of becoming a life time voter.

Proposal:
Endorse ACA 17
(Approval Threshold - any proposal that receives any objection shall be removed from the consent calendar before approval as per GPCA Bylaw 5-8.11)
