9. Goals
Jeff Drummond and Tera Little. 20 minutes Proposal:
Adopt the Evergreen Plan (please see separate document) as our first
step in building a comprehensive strategic plan for GPLAC. 10. Censure of Mike
Feinstein Gabrielle Weeks. 15 minutes Proposal:
That the County Council formally censure Mike Feinstein for the
following ungreen and unlawful activities: ·
Participating in a vote
of the County Council that was a clear conflict of interest ·
Participating in a vote
of the City of ·
Misappropriating tens
of thousands of dollars (Mike's estimation at the August 2001 County
meeting) donated in good faith to the Green Party of Los Angeles County ·
Failing to file legally
required political filings in violation of the California Political
Reform Act ·
Failing to mediate in
good faith with the Green Party of Los Angeles County regarding valid
and long-standing grievances, including measurable harm and legal
damages 11. State Fundraising
Mailing Tom Bolema and Denise Robb. 20 minutes Proposal:
Partner with Green Party of California to do a fundraising letter to
all registered Greens in LA County. Details of this include: 1. Local
provides list of registered Greens who have voted since March 2002.
Proposal: We hold Regional Representative elections at the
next scheduled GPLAC meeting.
We have been postponing this important election while
waiting for a new process to be affirmed by County Council. While we
agree that a new process is desirable, we also believe we need to move
forward and hold elections. We believe the time between meetings will
give us ample opportunity to do outreach to people who may want to run. 12. Next meeting
