Green Party of California
State Meeting

University of California,
Los Angeles
January 18th-20th, 2002

Laura Wells was the Green Party of California's 2002 candidate for Controller, and received 419,873 votes (5.8%), the most vote for any candidate ever, on the Green statewide ballot in California. Here she addresses meeting attendees as part of the Saturday night festivities.

Los Angeles County's own Donna Warren was the Green Party's 2002 candidate for Lt. Governor. She received 307,254 votes (4.2%). She has made reform of California's "three strikes law" one of her major priorities. Here she speaks before a courtyard gathering of delegates at the UCLA meeting.

Peter Camejo
was the Green Party's 2002 and 2003 candidate for Governor. In 2002 he received 393,036 votes (5.3%) in the General Election. Then in 2003 he ran in California's Recall Election and received 242169 votes, 2.8%. Camejo has made a 'fair tax' a major focus of his campaigns.
