The general directions are to get onto Hwy 880 in San Jose and exit at The Alameda.

From the North

• North of San Francisco: Take Hwy 580 to the East Bay then come down 880.

• San Francisco peninsula: Take Hwy 101 south to Hwy 880 south.

• East Bay / Hwy 680: Come south on 680. In Fremont, take Mission St. to Hwy 880 south.

• Hwy 5: Take Hwy 80 west, then Hwy 680 south. Follow the "East Bay / Hwy 680" directions.

From the South

• Hwy 5 or Hwy 99: Take state Hwy 152 west to Gilroy, then north on Hwy 101.

• Hwy 101: In San Jose, take Hwy 880 south.

The Alameda exit off Hwy 880 is about 1½ miles south of the Hwy 101 interchange.

The United Way is located one block east of Hwy 880.
