Bill Balderston, Application for Coordinating Committee

I am applying to be on the California Green Party Coordinating Committee.

 

I was the Green Party candidate for State Insurance Commissioner in 2010.

 

As a leader of the Oakland Education Association  (on its executive board) from 1988 to 2008, and representing the OEA at the state and national levels,

 

I have been an advocate for independent political action. I also have been active in the anti-war, immigrant rights, single-payer and labor movements for the last forty years.

 

I wish to present an alternative to the two parties of business and to make a linkage between the Greens and the eco-socialist movement.
