The Green Party of California (GPCA) biannual, state General Assembly (GA) will be held this November 17-18 in Porterville, CA

Porterville, CA – The Green Party of California (GPCA) biannual, state General Assembly (GA) will be held this November 17-18 in Porterville, CA. This is the first time, in the state party’s history, that the GPCA’s state plenary will be held in Tulare County. Green Party delegates from across the state will gather to discuss and make decisions on issues that are important on the local and state level.

Registered Green Party members may pay the pre-registration fee of $65 through the Green Party of California website to attend the event. The gathering will be held November 17-18 in the Multipurpose Room of Porterville High School. The event will start at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Breakfast will be provided and lunch will be catered both days.

The Green Party of Tulare County is also proud to announce the appearance of 2012 and 2016 Green Presidential candidate, Dr. Jill Stein. She is scheduled for four public speaking events, free and open to the public, including a speech at Porterville High School after the GA on Saturday, November 17 at 7:00 pm. All are invited to attend this event.
Dr. Stein will also be speaking at the Grand Opening of the Lindsay, CA CAPS office on Sunday night the 18th; at California State University, Fresno on Monday afternoon the 19th; and at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, CA on Tuesday the 20th at 12:00 pm, in Hospital Rock, room 134.
