10) Discussion: Planning for Presidential Candidate Forum at San Diego General Assembly (State Meeting Committee)

The Coordinating Comittee discussed content, logistics and outreach for the forum.

11) Report: 2017 GPUS ANM Planning (2017 ANM Planning Committee)

Feinstein reported that the 2017 ANM Planning Committee is waiting for a member of the GPUS Annual National Meeting Committee to contact the Alameda County Green Party and give them the information they will need to find an appropriate venue.

12) Discussion: Status of Rich Zitola’s seat on Coordinating Committee (Everette)

Everette summaried the rational for an accomodation for Zitola to return to the Coordinating Commitee, after missing the three meetings as a result of extraordinary circumstances. Feinstein reported upon the GPCA's historic practice regarding making such accomodations. Zitola indicated his interest in returning to the Coordinating Committee, should such an accomodation be made. It was planned that a bylaws interpretation to effectuate such an accomodation would be brought to the December 7 Coordinating Committee teleconference.

13) Decision: Timing of Current SGA session (Feinstein)

Proposal (Feinstein): That the Coordinating Committee approve the following bylaws interpretation:

The current SGA round is discussion from 10/05/2015 - 11/15/2015 and voting from 11/16/2015 - 11/22/2015, for SGA agenda items #67-#75. Based upon the requirement in the GPCA bylaws that all amendments to proposals before the SGA have at least one week for consideration; and given that the amendments to some proposals were not yet ready in time for a one week final discussion, but otherwise seem to be reflective of the sense of the SGA based upon discussions on the SGA discussion email list; and given that there are no deadlines or other party objectives that would fail to be met by the addition of an extra week to the discusion period; and given that several new delegates have been added during the middle of discussion period from Alameda, San Francisco, Orange and Humboldt counties, who would benefit from a longer discussion period. therefore the Coordinating Committee extends the discussion period one week til 11/22/2015, with a week of voting to follow.
